Hot Pot Pop-up Dinner

 

   

    Chinese hot pot consists of various raw meats, vegetables, noodles, tofu, and seafood, which are dipped using chopsticks into a pot of hot flavored broth to cook. The items are then fished out with chopsticks or a strainer, and eaten with dipping sauce. The origins of Chinese hot pot dates back over 1,000 years.

The spicy broth is made with fermented chili bean sauce
and ginger, garlic, Sichuan peppercorn, dried chili pepper, star anise, cinnamon, fennel and
homemade chicken stock.
The non-spicy broth is made with chicken, pork bones,
tomato, ginger and scallion and Chinese herbs.
