About The Event
The Mid-Autumn Festival takes place when the moon is at its fullest during the moon cycle, the Chinese will host a feast and celebration to pray for a good harvest year, peace for the country and to appreciate the lunar cycle. In today's traditions, we often celebrate with a large gathering with friends and family, and have a scrumptious feast. A tradition of mooncakes is often enjoyed during this time as well, it's a cake made from red bean or lotus seed paste, that is wrapped around an egg or a salted duck yolk and encrusted with a decorative crust.
We’ll be serving the dinner family style, but only between you and your party. We recommend that when you book you let us know if you’re a part of a group so we can seat you all together! We want to remind you that these dinners take place indoors at our studio and you may be seated at a table with strangers. We will do our best in spacing the groups of people dining in my space, but I only have few large tables for seating.
