October Pop-Up Dinner: American Chinese, Reimagined
This month we honor the Chinese immigrants who shaped American dining culture. From chop suey to General Tso’s chicken, their dishes became a part of everyday American life. Born from resilience, creativity, and the longing to belong.
For this dinner, I’ll be reimagining the American Chinese classics we all recognize. But grounded in my Chinese roots, using local Montana ingredients, and infused with the playful spirit of Hummingbird’s Kitchen, these familiar flavors will be both comforting and surprising.
